A total of 13 people are now behind bars in Madison and Hinds Counties accused of doctor shopping and forging prescriptions.
Seven people were arrested today, the other six have have been arrested over the past two weeks.
DEA agents along with law enforcement from Brandon, Madison, and Rankin County surprised the men and women at their homes.
State authorities say this drug bust is part of a two year investigation.
The prescription medications they were reportedly obtaining illegally included Lortabs, Oxycodone and Xanax.
Authorities say seven other suspected doctor shoppers and forgers either turned themselves into police or were arrested over the past two weeks.
Those arrested are from Clark, Hinds, Lincoln, and Madison.
