A 13-year-old boy that was hit by a car in Ridgeland on Wednesday is still in critical condition.
He is being cared for at Blair E. Batson Hospital. Ridgeland Police Chief John Neal says he is showing more positive signs of improvement this morning.
The family is currently waiting on doctors to determine the course of treatment.
On Thursday afternoon, the boy was hit by a passing vehicle on Pear Orchard. He was crossing the street in traffic when he was hit by a motorist in a Nissan.
The child was transported to the hospital with a head injury.
