CANTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A movie starring actress Sharon Stone, set to be filmed in Mississippi in June, will now be shot elsewhere due to the religious accommodations law.

The short film, called "The Principal", is about cyber-bullying.

In a statement released to Mississippi Film Studios President Rick Moore, Stone says, "I will not work in any state that holds or is actively creating laws to legally support discrimination against American citizens whether due to their race, religion, gender or sexual orientation, nor where those laws are passed or approved by the government of said state."

Stone and the producers plan to choose another location for the $300,000 production.
