Two men charged with business burglary in Clinton

Two men are now in custody in Clinton charged with business burglary. 55 year old Anthony Alesandrelli of Raymond and 45 year old Marshall Creel of Brandon had court appearances Wednesday.

Police tell us the two men forced their way into Birdwell Electric, cutting the lock to the entrance gate. The building's surveillance equipment was also damaged, apparently in an attempt to destroy any video evidence.

Clinton Police Chief Ford Hayman said, "both of them appear to have a pretty extensive criminal history. One of them is currently, according to the MDOC website, currently on parole. Both of them seem to have an extensive history with narcotics and property theft."

Alesandrelli is on parole from the Mississippi Department of Corrections.  He also has multiple felony arrests in Texas.  Creel was picked up by Byram Police on a business burglary warrant April 19th.
