Fourth suspect arrested in murder of Kiaris Porter

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

17-year-old Keishawn Rose was arrested on Friday and charged with Capital Murder in the death of 21-year-old Kiaris Porter who was shot to death in the middle on Noble Street on April 29.

He was booked into the City Jail and is currently awaiting an initial hearing.

He is the fourth suspect involved in this incident.

Shaneka Brown, Malcom McLaughlin and Zimarious Harden are already in custody. They are also charged with capital murder.

On Friday, April 29, Jackson Police Officers responded to Noble St. near Faulk Blvd. regarding a shooting.

A man named Kiaris Porter had been shot once in the head and was pronounced dead on scene.

During the investigation, police learned the victim was possibly last seen in a black Dodge Charger right before the shooting happened.

Later, police confirmed he was shot in his vehicle and left the location.
