Big crowds are expected to cruise into Madison this weekend for the Florida Georgia Line concert presented by C Spire. They're already setting up the VIP tent, but don't expect to get in unless you already have a ticket. They sold out in about 4 minutes.
"Timing couldn't be better for this thing," Said CSpire Public Relations Manager Scott Pareteau. "They just hit their 11th number 1 single with their newly released single last week."
Pareteau says they moved the concert that's been held in Ridgeland the last two years, to Madison, to accommodate a larger crowd.
"We have plenty of general admission tickets available," added Pareteau. "The neat thing about our side here is we can scale it with tickets, so as we sell tickets, we can keep bumping the fence out, keep getting more people in here. It's a great venue for people."
The concert will also feature other upcoming country artists Cole Swindell, the Cadillac Three and Kane Brown.
People are being asked to park at Madison Central High, Broadmoor Baptist Church, and the Highlands Medial Arts Building and take the free shuttle in.
"We're trying to bring a concert through at least once a summer," said Pareteau. "People can get a different experience and come into a more festival type environment with all their friends and family."
Tickets are $65.00 and still available for the concert through Ticketmaster. Gates will open at 5 and the concert starts at 6 pm Saturday.
