KOSCIUSKO, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Kosciusko Police Department needs help finding 2 burglars who broke into a gun store.

At 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, two men broke into Central Mississippi Firearms in Kosciusko.

They were driving a White Chevrolet 2500 Diesel pickup truck that had been stolen from Tchula.

The men backed the truck into the front of the business so they could get inside, then stole 8 handguns and 1 AR-15 assault rifle.

After leaving, they wrecked the stolen truck on Hwy 12 West outside of Kosciusko and escaped on foot.

Police were able to find 1 handgun from inside the wrecked truck and the stolen AR-15 assault rifle was recovered nearby on the side of the road.

The two suspects were last seen around 6:30 a.m. walking down Hwy 12 westbound towards Holmes County when they were picked up by someone driving a black Trailblazer.

Anyone with information that leads to identifying and arresting these men will be eligible for a reward of up to $2500.
