Fifteen minutes later, officers were called to the scene of a three car accident at Woodrow Wilson near MLK. A man with a gun shot wound to the head was in one of the vehicles.

He was being taken to the hospital, but was pronounced dead at the scene. The man, now identified as 35-year-old Brandon Washington was also shot in the 5900 block of Henley.

An investigation of both crime scenes confirmed that there was an altercation between Allen Course and Brandon Washington that led to several shots being fired. Washington was shot while sitting in the front passenger seat of the blue Hyundai Accent involved in the Woodrow Wilson accident.

Further investigation confirmed that the vehicle was stolen from Clinton February 27, 2016, and the driver, identified as Jeremy Roberts was charged with being in possession of a stolen vehicle.
