JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Jackson Police Department is investigating a business burglary at the Jasco on Woodrow Wilson.

Commander Tyree Jones said at 5:29 a.m., 4 masked men in a white pickup smashed the barred doors to the front of the store and came inside.

Once inside the Jasco, they tried to pull the ATM machine out of the store with a chain but were unsuccessful.

Some damage was done to the ATM, but no money was stolen from it.

A concerned citizen saw the break-in happening and called the police.

The convenience store was closed at the time, and no one was injured.
