RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The bond has been set for a Rankin County teen charged for stabbing another teen multiple times.

Bond has been set at $10,000 for 17-year-old Cale Evan Reaves.

On Saturday night at 11 p.m., the Rankin County Sheriff's Office responded to Riverchase Drive in Brandon, after a caller said that a teen had been stabbed. According to witnesses, this all happened at the victim's house where he was having a group of people over.

Reaves was called by a girl at the home to come and pick her up.

When Reaves got to the house, he started fighting with the victim in the street. Investigators say Reaves then pulled out a knife and cut and stabbed the victim several times.

The victim's father broke up the fight and took his son to the hospital for medical attention.

Deputies found Reaves during a traffic stop and arrested him. He has been charged with one count of aggravated assault and will be tried as an adult.
