According to Crystal Springs Police Chief Chris Palmer, the Jackson Police Department contacted Crystals Springs PD about a deadly stabbing that happened around 2 a.m. Saturday.

JPD stopped 33-year-old Tiffany Jackson on Daniel Lake Blvd and found 36-year-old Montarrio Lilley in the car with a single stab wound to the chest.

Ms. Jackson told JPD that she and Lilley argued at 138 Lola’s Lane in Crystal Springs and she was driving him to the doctor in Jackson.

Lilley was transported by ambulance from Daniel Lake Blvd. in Jackson to UMMC, where he later died.

Crystal Springs Police went to the home on Lolas Lane and found evidence that the stabbing took place there.

Jackson said she was Lilley's ex-girlfriend and they had a fight and she stabbed him.
