“Dog Days is one of those rare opportunities in our community when pet lovers can come together to celebrate with their family and their dogs while making a difference for homeless pets,” said Denise Cantrell, CARA’s Executive Director.
A donation of dog food is the admission fee to the event. A $5 admission is required to enter the Children’s Carnival.
This is a fun event for the whole entire family, including your dogs! But make sure they are on a leash!
CARA is a nonprofit "no-kill" animal rescue group that cares for hundreds of abused, unwanted, and stray animals. It is operated by volunteers and part-time employees.
The expenses for its programs and services are supported solely by private donations from individuals, businesses, and fundraising events throughout the year. CARA receives no funding from any government agency.
