Week 4 of high school football is in the books. Madison Central, Velma Jackson, McLaurin, and St. Joseph are nominees for The End Zone Play of the Week.

The End Zone Play of the Week Nominees (September 8th-9th)

1. Jack Garrard TD pass to Holt Stocket (St. Joseph)

Our first nominee is from our Game of the Week. Jack Garrard found Holt Stocket, St. Joseph turns a 3rd and long into a touchdown. Bruins rout St. Andrew's 42-14 to start 4-0.

2. Braden Boykin 90 yd INT return (Madison Central)

Our second nominee from a big road win in Batesville. Braden Boykin picks off the pass at his own 5 and he'll take it back to the opposite 5 yard line. 90-yard return after the interception. Madison Central beats South Panola 21-19 on Thursday.

3. Antavious Willis TD to Robert Stewart (Velma Jackson)

Our third nominee is from a 4-0 team. Antavious Willis hits Robert Stewart, Stewart turns plenty of YAC to a Velma Jackson TD. Falcons surge in 2nd half to beat Pisgah 32-17.

4. Josh Sexton TD (McLaurin)

Our final nominee is from a special night in Rankin County. Eight-year-old Josh Sexton is battling cancer and had a chance to suit up with McLaurin. Sexton had a convoy of Tigers leading him to The End Zone.
