Two wanted for questioning in Richland police officer carjacking

RICHLAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

According to Commander Tyree Jones 3 men, including one that was armed, robbed and carjacked an off-duty Richland police officer on August 17.

Officer William Buckley was parked at Christ Temple Church at the corner of Lamar and Monument Streets around 10:30 a.m.

The three suspects took his Maroon 2001 Chevy Z71 (SP3 237). Buckley had two pistols in his truck, along with body armour and his wallet. No witnesses were on the scene and no injuries were reported.

Police need your help finding the three suspects. They have identified two of the men wanted for questioning in this incident.
