The prosecution and defense rested their case on Wednesday morning. Moore, who was 17 at the time of the murder, sat quietly in the Hinds County courtroom as he heard the evidence against him. A video confession was shown to jurors.

In the confession, Moore admitted the gun used to kill Temple was his and that he also drove the getaway car. He also admitted that he was on spice at the time of the murder.
