JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Police say thieves broke through a back wall of Cowboy Maloney's on I-55 to gain access inside Tuesday night; wires were cut, surveillance cameras and alarm systems were destroyed.

Johnny Maloney says whoever burglarized his electronics store were professionals.

"This area back here was loaded with TV's boxed TV's. this area over there was loaded with TV's, they took stuff they could sell pretty quick," said Maloney.

Too many TV's to count were taken, along with air conditioners. A store safe was dragged out of a managers office and destroyed. The petty cash inside was gone.

"It's just when somebody's going to get you, they're going to get you," added Maloney. "These guys apparently had it out for us. I'm sure they had to case the place."

Police believe the thieves backed up a truck or van to a loading dock to offload the electronics. They are analyzing surveillance video from nearby businesses, hoping to get a break in the case.

To make it worse, the Maloney's Hattiesburg store was also hit overnight, a crash and dash, where more electronics taken.
