CANTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Police in Canton confirm that the man wanted in a deadly Canton shooting has turned himself in.

24-year-old Damian Hart turned himself in to Canton police on Monday morning. On Wednesday, he was given a $500,000 bond during his court appearance.

22-year-old Quintarius Allen was shot and killed Friday night after a party at the Dynamic Divas Dance Studio. The shooting stemmed from an argument at the party but a motive is unclear.

Chief Otha Brown said the shooter was driving a white Mercury or Ford sedan and fired several rounds into a car carrying Allen and Larry Brown Jr. Police say Brown was shot in the leg.
