BRANDON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The vandals who destroyed Halloween decorations in several Brandon neighborhoods have been caught.

A person in Stone Bridge called authorities after seeing three suspicious-looking males in an undeveloped part of the neighborhood.

The suspects admitted to the Rankin County Sheriff's Office that they had been in the area before, and messed up Halloween decorations in Lennox (a subdivision across the street from where the vandals were caught), but said they were not responsible for destroying mailboxes in the Cornerstone neighborhood.

The group included two minors and 19-year-old Ezekiel Richard Morgan, who was taken to the Rankin County jail for driving with suspended license and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is still in the jail on a two thousand dollar bond.

The case for other acts of vandalism is still ongoing.

Will Allen, the man whose yard and decorations were demolished, says he went in this morning to file paperwork with the police, though he said yesterday that he does not plan to press charges.
