Tori isn't the only Bowie doing big things in Mississippi sports.
A packed house was in the Morton HS auditorium Tuesday morning as D.D. Bowie was named a U.S. Army All-American. The Panther standout will have an opportunity to play on a national stage. The Ole Miss commit was selected to the East squad for the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
It continues a season of honors for Bowie. He was selected to the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star Game last week.
Bowie has filled the stat sheet so far in his senior season. Through 7 games, he has 1373 rushing yards, 326 return yards, 190 passing yards, 137 receiving yards, and 20 total touchdowns. D.D. also plays defense for the Panthers, recording 13 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 interception.
The U.S. Army All-American Bowl will be played January 7th, 2017 in San Antonio. Kickoff is at 12:00pm and you can watch it on WLBT.
