JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The hunt is underway for a third person police say is responsible for a violent string of crimes. An eight month crime spree includes armed business hold ups and car theft, according to authorities.

You are asked to be on the lookout for 18-year-old J'Quantis Brown, considered armed and dangerous. Jackson Police said he is one in a trio of criminals.

Brown is wanted in connection with the armed robberies of three Family Dollar stores and Dixon's Seafood.

According to investigators, Brown, 18-year-old Montra Wallace and 17-year-old James Hawkins began a crime spree in February.

It reportedly began with the Northside Drive restaurant and in the same night, the first Family Dollar armed robbery on Clinton Boulevard. Police said they terrorized store employees and stole money.

On September 19, they hit the Family Dollar on Capitol Street. Four days later the Raymond Road Family Dollar was their next heist.

Investigators said the crimes continued on October 5 at a carjacking at Canton Road Manor Apartments. A woman's white Nissan Altima was taken at gunpoint.

Hawkins and Wallace are charged in each case. They are charged with armed robbery, attempted armed robbery of a business and auto theft.

Wallace was captured by JPD's SWAT Team Wednesday.
