JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

After Tina Binachini, a former JPD officer, claimed she was sexually harassed by a member of Jackson Police Department, the City of Jackson and the police chief are asking that the text messages be thrown out in an amendment to Bianchini's federal lawsuit, according to newly released court documents.

The amendment also contains a photo of a man's genitals.

The city has responded, in part, by saying while Bianchini acknowledges that JPD has a sexual harassment policy, her pleading is devoid of any facts demonstrating she utilized the procedures set forth in that policy.

The city also says Bianchini has not made a sexual harassment claim against Jones himself.
