TCHULA, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Tchula Police Chief Kenneth Hampton has three more people to add to 'his list' after an attempted robbery and shooting inside a home early Saturday morning.

No one was hurt and nothing was taken, but suspects fired 23 bullets inside the home. One bullet struck another home.

"They made entry into the home and the homeowners woke up and saw them. Twenty-three shots were fired inside the home," Hampton said. "That pisses me off. I credit the father for getting his family down."

Here's the warning Chief Hampton issued.

Hampton said the incident was intentional, but couldn't go into further detail.

"My inbox (on Facebook) is pretty heavy right now, so I've got to go through it and track down any leads.
