Final week of the regular season and Pearl, Germantown, Canton, and Jackson Prep are all candidates for The End Zone Play of the Week.

The End Zone Play of the Week nominees (November 4th)

1. Tylan Knight kickoff return for TD (Pearl)

Our first nominee is from our Game of the Week. Pearl's Tylan Knight iced the 66th Rankin County Super Bowl, turning a onside kick into a Pirate touchdown. The Pirates beat Brandon 35-7 to win the 6A Region 3 title.

2. Nic Patterson TD (Germantown)

Our second nominee is from 5A Region 2. Germantown's Nic Patterson punched it in for a goal line TD, one of four on the night. The Mavericks beat Ridgeland 49-14 to win the 5A Region 2 title.

3. Tigers double reverse pass TD (Canton)

We'll stay in 5A Region 2 for our third nominee. Canton was up big in the 2nd quarter and Daryl Jones' crew dial up some magic. Jontarius Brown hands off to T'jarion Peel, he'll give it to Jermaine McGee, who drops a dime to Antoine Robinson. It's a double reverse pass for a touchdown. Canton goes on to beat Lanier 56-32.

4. Jerrion Ealy return TD (Jackson Prep)

Our final nominee is from a MAIS playoff matchup. Jackson Prep recorded a safety on defense, Jerrion Ealy put up more points on defense. The Patriots returned the ensuing safety kick 75 yards for a touchdown. Prep beats Jackson Academy, 32-7, to advance to the MAIS AAAA-D1 semifinals.
