1. Jesse Wilson GW TD pass to Demarcus Jones (Warren Central)

Our first nominee is from a thriller in the 6A North 1st Round. Warren Central trailed South Panola in the final minute and had to convert on 4th down to keep their season alive. Jesse Wilson found Demarcus Jones for the game winning touchdown. Vikings won 28-23 to advance to the 2nd round.

2. Malik Shorts kickoff return TD (Bassfield)

Our second nominee is from the four time defending state champions. Bassfield's Malik Shorts takes the kickoff 95 yards for a game tying touchdown. The Yellowjackets beat St. Joseph 58-26 to advance to the 2A South 3rd round.

3. Patriots double pass for TD (MRA)

Our third nominee is a trick play in the MAIS AAAA-D1 semifinals. Late in the 1st half, Hunter Hulsey fires to Jace Correro, he finds Andrew Berry wide open on the double pass for a MRA touchdown. The Patriots beat Copiah Academy 49-24 to advance to the MAIS AAAA-D1 state title game.

4. Swayze Bozeman TD (Tri-County)

Our final nominee is from the MAIS A-AA semifinals. Late in the 2nd quarter, Tri-County's Swayze Bozeman finds the end zone for a 4 yard touchdown. He had 3 scores as the Rebels beat Trinity Episcopal 63-26. The Rebels return to the MAIS A-AA title game.
