Abandoned home goes up in flames in west Jackson

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

An abandoned home caught fire at 4:54 a.m. according to Chief Cleotha Sander. This happened on Marla Avenue in west Jackson.

Rescuers searched the home and reported that nobody was inside. The structure was found abandoned with no public utilities.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
