Epps again faces judge, this time for 2016 burglary charge

Friday, Former MDOC Commissioner Chris Epps faced a judge again on a house burglary charge from 2016.

This comes after, just days before, a judge sentenced Mississippi's former prison boss to nearly two decades behind bars.

Epps was seen walking into the Rankin County Courthouse with his lawyer Friday morning, May 26.

According to his lawyer, Epps was indicted on one count of house burglary that happened on October 28, 2016.

Arraignment was waived, and he is now back in the custody of U.S. Marshals.
