COPIAH COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Copiah County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help with an armed robbery case.

On May 29, at 10:50 a.m. Copiah County Sheriff's Office received a call about an armed robbery at the Georgetown Truck Stop (Marathon) in Georgetown. 

The employee at the store was robbed at gunpoint by a black male standing between 5'6 and 5'8 tall, between 170-180 lbs. He was wearing a 2012 light gray Hazlehurst High School hoodie, a blue bandana covering his nose, mouth and chin, brown and tan camouflage pants and black Air Force one tennis shoes.

The suspect came from behind the store, entered the front door entrance then ran. 

Anyone with information that leads to an arrest would be eligible for a reward of up to $2500.
