He's been charged with 18 separate crimes since 2003. His family says his aggression was nothing new.

"He has pulled guns on people and threatened to kill them," said Daisy Fairman, who's related to several of those who were killed over the weekend. "He would go up the streets, stop in front of people's house. Curse them out, and tell them he was going to blow their so-and-so head off."

Godbolt's full criminal history is listed below.

Godbolt was introduced to gun violence at an early age.

His father was shot and killed when he was just 17-years-old.

"He was sitting in a car in a driveway, and his wife came up to him and shot him in the face," explained Carl Brown, who's related to several of the murder victims.

The family says Godbolt's cousin - minister Shon Blackwell - used to talk him down.

"If he had any issues, that's who he used to go to - Shon," explained Lapeatra Stafford, who was says she was kidnapped by Godbolt during his alleged killing spree. "If he got arrested or anything, they would call Shon to come get him or anything like that."

Godbolt now accused of killing two of Blackwell's sons, 17-year-old Jordan and 11-year-old Austin.

Of the 18 charges against him, he's only been found guilty of three: disturbing the peace and two counts of simple assault back in October of 2013.

The rest of his charges were appealed, withdrawn, and so on.
