Fans of University of Southern Mississippi football got together one last time Saturday to have some food and fun on home turf.
Southern MIss' game with the Charlotte 49ers gave alumni and students a final opportunity to tailgate at various locations around "The Rock."
Fans enjoyed food and games and some even brought their TV's to check out other gridiron contests around the country.
"I'm actually from Charlotte, so this is a big game for me," said USM student Matt Saunders. "I've been looking forward to this since the first game this year."
"Anytime I can come out and support the Eagles in any situation, I love it and it's such a good thing for them that they are bowl eligible," said Gabrielle Graham, another student.
USM defeated Charlotte 66-21.
