LEXINGTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has cancelled the Endangered/Missing Child Alert for 6-year-old Dayshun Elton and 7-year-old Ke’Terrance Lashun Williams of Lexington in Holmes County after they were found safe.

According to Holmes County Sheriff Willie March, the children were found with their mother in Greenville (where she lives). A young man was also with the mom. His relation to the children or woman is unclear right now.

The kids' grandmother has lifetime custody over the 6-year-old and both children live with her in Lexington.

Officials are now working with DHS to return children to their grandmother. No charges have been filed yet.

Dayshun and Ke’Terrance went missing after school Tuesday in the 2700 block of Love Road in Lexington.

Police believed they were accompanied by 27-year-old Quianna Thurmond and 31-year-old Antonio Washington in a black Buick Rendezvous.
