#4 Ole Miss takes the field Wednesday against #21 Auburn. The Rebels can pad their regional host and national seed resume with a good run in the SEC Baseball Tournament.
Regardless of result, they'll be in Hoover longer than their last appearance.
"It's one of the great things about our tournament is the drama, especially on Day 1," head coach Mike Bianco said. "So fortunately we'll miss some of that drama. But we also realize that when you start on Wednesday, everybody has got a clean slate. And we're hopeful that we're gonna go there and perform."
Ferriss Trophy finalist Ryan Olenek says the Rebels are feeling good heading to Hoover. "You know, we're confident. We're excited. We've had a really awesome year, and we look forward to what's to come. I don't think we've ever stepped on the field thinking we weren't going to win. If you do you got problems."
#4 Ole Miss faces #21 Auburn Wednesday at 1:00pm. The SEC Tournament matchup will be televised on the SEC Network.
