Germany was the offensive coordinator at Jackson State in 2016 and 2017. The Tigers struggled on O last season, they were last in the SWAC in scoring offense (12.7 points per game) and total offense (231.8 yards per game).
Before the setback at JSU, Chad had success at Southern from 2011 to 2015. He was the Jaguars QBs coach and co-offensive coordinator. The SU squad in 2015 averaged 34 points per game)
Callaway wouldn't be Germany's first head coaching job. He led Capitol High from 2005 to 2010. Chad turned a winless Lion program into a Louisiana contender. Capitol reached the 2A state semifinals in 2009.
