A pair of great plays helped #11 Southern Miss advance to the C-USA Tournament semifinals. Matt Wallner hit a moonshot in the 3rd, Luke Reynolds turned a stellar double play in the 9th as the Golden Eagles beat UTSA 5-3.
Wallner's solo blast was his 14th home run of the season.
Reynolds turned the 5-3 double play while the Roadrunners had the tying run at first base.

The Golden Eagles will face either UTSA or Charlotte Saturday in the semifinals. First pitch from MGM Park is scheduled for 12:30pm, the game can be seen onlione at ESPN3.com.
