St. Joseph made a pair of big announcements Friday morning. Former Mississippi State quarterback John Bond gets his first opportunity to lead a program. Bond was introduced as the Bruins head football coach.
Along with a new coach is a new athletic director. Bruins basketball coach Michael Howell will also serve as the AD. He led St. Joe to a 24-7 record this past season and a Big House appearance. Howell said that coaches from Florida & Texas were among the 45 to apply for the football vacancy.
