Regi Grace was selected by the Twins in the 10th Round of the 2018 MLB Draft. The Madison Central pitcher had a 1.31 ERA this season.
The 2016 state champ has some good options: playing at Mississippi State or going pro with Minnesota. "I'm not quite sure. Me and my family, we're still sitting down, discussing what's going to happen. It's a life changing decision."
I always ask players what they were doing when they get that famous call. Grace is a gamer in more ways than one.
"I was playing 2K (basketball). I got a call, they asked me and they told me that they drafted me. And I said alright, thank you. Hung up the phone and continued my game."
