BOLTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A house fire in Bolton that claimed the life of a 55-year-old man has been ruled arson. 

The body of Jerry Andrew Watson was found inside a home on W. Northside Drive Tuesday night.

The Sheriff's Investigators and State Fire Marshal's office have ruled the fire an arson.

The Fire Department was called at 11:34 p.m. to the scene. 

The body has been sent to the Mississippi State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

Major Pete Luke with the Hinds County Sheriff's Department asks that anyone with information that will help in this case to please call the sheriff's officer or the State Fire Marshal.
