Hundreds of Mississippi soldiers were honored today at Camp Shelby for fighting in the war in Iraq.
Members of the 155th Brigade Combat Team received battle streamers for their efforts in the war in Iraq.
Soldiers in these combat units were sent to fight in January 2005 and returned home a year later.
Over 35-hundred soldiers were apart of the 155th Brigade Combat Team, all primarily from Mississippi.
Each streamer represents a battle the combat team fought in.
