Celtic Fest Celebrates Heritage

Irish music, dancing and green beer continued to flow this Saint Patrick's Day weekend. The Irish culture was celebrated Sunday during Celtic Fest at the Mississippi AG Museum. There was food, fun for the kids like this space jump and a time to enjoy all things irish.

Organizers say most caucasians in Mississippi are of Celtic decent.

"It's very important to us the Celtic Heritage Society. It's our mission to preserve the traditions," Rob Millette, President of the Celtic Heritage Society.  "we have language workshops, we have music workshops we have literature we're story telling just let everybody kind of reconnect to their ancestors."

This is the first time the festival has been held in celebration of Saint Patrick's Day .
