Talk Back 3: Passed Legislation for Tuition

My name is Joshua Coleman and I am a student at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science.  Today, Governor Barbour signed a bill that would go into effect July 1, 2008, that would start to charge students tuition to attend the school.  Most students that applied and were accepted to the school were told that the school was free and would be funded by the state legislature.  This bill would start to charge students a fee of $500 per semester to attend the school.  I'm afraid that some students that can't afford $500 per semester will not be able to come to this school next year and it saddens me, because if I return, then there is a possibilty that none of my classmates will be here when I return.  Hopefully, somehow, the bill will be reversed or will go into effect for the 2011 fisical year.  Thanks for your time.
