This week Crime Stoppers needs your help in finding two men responsible for one of the boldest heists of the year.
It took place in the middle of the day, at a typically busy restaurant.
It was high noon on June 6, at the McDonalds on Highway 18 in Jackson. Swat teams, and police officers and sheriff's deputies swarm the building.
The business and everyone inside held at gunpoint and robbed during the lunch hour.
Assistant Chief Lee Vance,"Two suspects possibly black males, one armed with a handgun proceed to rob the business as well as the patrons."
The Jackson Police S.W.A.T. team was called into sweep the building for the robbers, but they had already fled.
Inside, customers and employees, very shaken up.
Family members on the outside relieved no on was hurt.
"She said oh got they're robbing this place there's a man in here with a gun and I said honey hang the phone up I said quick I said don't let em see ya with a phone I'll call 911 right now. Then she called me back later I said are they gone? She said no were all down on the floor I said please hang the phone up if they see her with it they may shoot her," said Jack Lewis whose wife was trapped in the restaurant during the heist.
The victims told police the robbers were two black males.
They fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
Police are hoping that someone who may have seen an awaiting vehicle, or knows where they are now will be willing to bring them to justice.
Their whereabouts could be worth $1,000 in cash.
