Jackson Police are investigating the brutal murder of a west Jackson man found inside his home Friday morning.
The unidentified black male was found lying on the living room floor of this home he was renting at 708 Westmont Drive.
Detectives at the scene say there were signs of a struggle, but no signs of forced entry into the home.
Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart says the victim appeared to have been struck repeatedly in the head with a blunt object.
An autopsy will be performed to determine his cause of death.
