What is a Hurricane?

A hurricane is a large, spinning storm that forms over the ocean. Hurricanes have winds at least 74 miles per hour and cause heavy rains. These storms can make large waves that cause damage. Hurricanes can tear-up houses, cars, and even boats. Sometimes, people can be hurt or killed by a hurricane.
