Wild Rice with Pine Nuts

  • 2 c. Canned No-Salt-Added Chicken Broth
  • 1 c. Chopped Onion
  • 1/2 c. Wild Rice (uncooked)
  • 1/2 c. Brown Rice (uncooked)
  • 3 Tbsp. Pine Nuts, toasted
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Dried Basil
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt

Directions:

Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil.  Cover, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.  Stir in toasted pine nuts and remaining ingredients.  Cover and simmer an additional 15 minutes or until rice is tender adn liquid absorbed.

6 (1/2 cup) Servings
